Overview
At Proliance, our surgeons have specialized training in cosmetic surgery, microsurgery/complex reconstructive surgery (including the DIEP flap) and complex hand surgery, as well as extensive knowledge in many treatments and conditions:
Surgical Rejuvenation
Facial Procedures
Cosmetic operations of the face that include a range of surgeries and treatments. These include facelifts, brow lifts, eyelid lifts, Botox, chemical peels, and more.
Breast Procedures
Cosmetic surgeries to augment breasts, reducing their size or enlarging them, as well as other goals. Operations include fat transfer augmentation, breast lift, and breast implants.
Cosmetic Body Procedures
Operations with the goal of improving the appearance to the patient’s satisfaction. Surgeries include liposuction, arm or body lift, gluteal augmentation, thigh reshaping, tummy tucks, and many others.
Scar Revision
A procedure to alter the appearance of a scar or restore function to a part of the body restricted by a scar. It’s important to remember that scars cannot be completely removed.
Nonsurgical Rejuvenation
Botox & Dermal Fillers
Cosmetic procedures to stop creases and wrinkles and to plump up areas that have lost volume. The former weakens muscles to soften the lines caused by facial expressions while the fillers are a gel-like substance injected.
Light Therapy
Also known as phototherapy, it is focused on promoting anti-aging effects and reducing inflammation by increasing collagen in the skin. Treatments are typically 30-minute sessions and involve laying under a direct light source.
Body Contouring
Also referred to as body sculpting and can be either non-surgical or surgical procedures. The goal is to eliminate excess fat, reshape bodily areas, and lose excess skin.
Laser Hair Removal
A procedure using a concentrated beam of light to remove hair from unwanted areas by damaging the hair follicles. The damage done isn’t a permanent solution, but delays and inhibits hair regrowth.
Latisse®
A prescription drug that helps to grow more eyelashes. It’s a daily medication that gives results after a few months of use and requires ongoing use to keep the new growth.
Facials
Skin treatments of various sorts cleanse pores and exfoliate dead skin cells away. Facials can be used to treat common skin concerns and include a wide range of specific methods.
Peeling Treatments
Also known as a chemical peel, it’s a procedure where a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove its top layers. The skin that grows back is smoother and void of wrinkles, discoloration, and scars.
Waxing & Tinting
The former uses sticky substances to remove hair from the root by pulling out the hair from the follicle. The latter adds a custom-blended color to lashes and brows to create a unified or different look for eyebrows and eyelashes.
Ultherapy®
A non-surgical alternative to facelifts that counteracts signs of aging, like wrinkles and sagging skin. The method uses ultrasound energy to support collagen regeneration as is aimed at the skin, muscle, and superficial wrinkles.
Hydrafacial
A multistep facial treatment that uses a proprietary machine to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and deliver rejuvenating serums. It is similar to microdermabrasion and is completed in 30 minutes.
Micro-channeling
A non-invasive procedure that stimulates the body’s ability to generate collagen, elastin, and other natural methods of keeping skin healthy. It works by stimulating the outer layers of the skin to increase the body’s natural production of these elements.
Photo Facial (IPL)
Also known as Intense Pulsed Light therapy, it is a method to improve the color and texture of skin without surgical intervention. The skin is heated to cause unwanted cells to be eliminated and cause the damage made by these cells to reverse.
